Buenas buenas,
La playa. Dont think I wrote about the beach last week. So on our p day, monday, we went to the beach about 2 hours north of our district, so a little far, and to be honest we were all not too happy to go, just because of how far it was. But I got there and just enjoyed the scenary, some volleyball. Just standing with my feet in the water felt so nice, but at the same time a lot of you know I love swimming so it was actually pretty sad that we can't swim but I understand the rules. And it gave me a huge motivation boost to continue working, getting stronger, getting ready for when I can swim in two years.

Our zone leaders, basically just other elders who kinda lead us, pretty often send us motivational videos and its been a lot of Kobe Bryant, how the end goal isnt the way to enjoy it, its the process, love the day in and day out process and you will find something greater than your goal. Something thats actually helping me on my mission and life, thanks Kobe!

But yeah besides that, poco a poco getting better at spanish, learning how to be a better missionary. Also didnt write about transfers last week, basically my whole district got transferred 6/8 of the other people, while my comp and I stayed. Pretty chill people, I think we will have some fun.

One quick story:
Theres this mom of a kid who got baptized about 3 months ago or so. She really loves the gospel and wants to get baptized, but told us she is waiting for the right time. Theres a couple reasons for that. One of them is she was living with her "husband" but they are not married. And the other is her job, its around alcohol she says. So we meet with her once a week to see how shes doing, and this last week she told us how her boyfriend left her, one random day the week before. I felt sorry for her as she said she was a little sad, but not devasted. My comp and I were pretty excited tho because that is one step closer to baptism for her and we know she really wants it, and she told us she is looking for a new job, so everyone pray for her, Yohany.

Spiritual thought:
Ive been thinking a lot about growth and how can I help others come to know Jesus Christ, but really at the end of the day its their choice. As I have studied out the words of the scriptures, in the Bible, especially in the Book of Mormon it truly has changed me, my desires, intentions for the better, not just because Im a missionary, but because Im trying to learn more, and I can testify to you all that reading the scriptures intently literally can change you, who you want to become, and especially in the Book of Mormon, its principals are so simple but so profound.
I invite you all to study out a chapter of your choice in the scriptures and really pray snd try to understand it, wherever you like, and I know if you do this you will be blessed with more comfort in your trials that you can get through them, as you study out the scriptures
If you want to read in the Book of Mormon heres a link the app:
